Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival (L/D)
Upon arrival Tan Son Nhat airport, pick up and transfer to the City center to start a half day city tour: Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office & War museuem. Lunch at local restaurant. Check into hotel. Refresh to recover after a long flight. Dinner cruise at Ben Nghe. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh - My Tho - Mekong Delta (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. 08: 30 pick up and transfer to My Tho where we will first visit Vinh Trang, the old & finest ancient pagoda in Mekong Delta. Then we take a boat trip around four beautiful Islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix on Tien River. Through Xep canal to visit Mekong traditional houses at Quoi An village (make all from coconut tree). See coconut collection set and how the locals make handicrafts from coconut trunk and shell. Enjoy seasonal fruits and listening to traditional music. Take the horse-cart on village path and stop at Ben Truc orchard, taste honey with tea or wine. See bees-breeding in wooden boxes at local farms. Take rowing-boat on water palm creek. Boat to visit a coconut candy workshop, taste candy (Special products of Bentre province). Lunch on islets. Return by boat to My Tho city, where our vehicle is waiting for you to return to Ho Chi Minh city. Dinner at local restaurant.Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. 08: 00 Transfer out City center to start a half day trip to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. After lunch at local restaurant by the river in Cu Chi, return to Ho Chi Minh. We continue to take a half day Ho Chi Minh city tour: Former President palace Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Market in the city's bustling Chinatown. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Check out and transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel. Check-in. Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: Hanoi city tour - Visit the Temple of Literature, War Museum, Fine Art Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and shopping tour in old quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong (B/L/D)
8: 30 Shuttle bus pick you up at your hotel, for the 3.5 hr drive to Halong City. 12: 00 Board Halong Glory Cruise. Lunch is served with a welcome drink while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape. You will see Dog Rock, Incense Burner Rock, as well as Fighting Cock Rock before heading to Sung Sot Cave ( Cave of Surprises ). Later we stop at a floating house owned by fishermen before kayaking to Luon Cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay. After returning to the boat a fresh fruit platter will be served, and we will anchor in a safe and scenic location for swimming (if the weather permits) and our overnight stay. Dinner is served onboard. Relax and overnight onboard.
Day 6: Halong - Hanoi (B/L)
7: 30 Breakfast will be served on the boat, before cruising to another part of Halong Bay where you will view more of the bays spectacular limestone scenery, such as Drum Cave, Man's Head Islet, Turtle Islet and Fairman's Cave. The junk then heads to Van Gia fishing village- one of the oldest and largest floating villages in Halong Bay. You will have the opportunity to understand more about the fishermen's daily life, before cruising to a beautiful, secluded spot to swim.
11: 30 The boat returns to the dock while lunch is served.
Pick up and transfer back to Hanoi. Trip ends around 4: 00PM.
Day 7: Depart Hanoi (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Free until transfered to the airport for flight back home. End of tour
