The Dragon's Pearl Cruise is reborn from 1 May 2010. Classic Design, New Facilities, Special rate in 2010 In keeping with the tradition of wooden boat building, this 29 meter long, 6.9 meter wide masterpiece is constructed of the finest quality materials by the hands of skilled craftsman. Designed after the Chinese sailing Junks of old, there are three traditional sails; a 13-meter main sail, a 14-meter front sail, and a 7-meter cross sail.
Our 2 day programs are full of activities to choose from and take you to the must-see sights of this legendary Bay. We offer a host of activities for you including swimming, visiting amazing caves and use of our sit on-top kayaks. Go to less traveled areas of Bai Tu Long Bay & Halong Bay.
Day 1: Hanoi - Hon Gai Harbour - Bai Tu Long Bay - Cap La
07.45 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi by shuttle bus. 12.00 Embark at Hon Gai International harbour. 13.00 Check-in, enjoy a welcoming drink and cruise briefing. 13.30 Have lunch while cruising in the magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay. 15.00 Cruise to Cap La. 16.30 Enjoy kayaking around Cap La and Tra San. 17.45 Back to junk for swimming or relaxation. 19.00 Have dinner and stay overnight on board.
Day 2: Cap La - Cong Dam
07.30 Enjoy the bay’s morning landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the open air. 08.30 Cruise to Cong Dam while appreciating the rock formations of Halong Bay. 09:00 Kayak through hidden lagoons and Cong Damgeological park. 11.30 Sunbathe, relax or swim at Tra Gioi Beach. 12.30 BBQ Lunch followed by relaxation on this deserted beach. 14:30 Visit Cong Dam Fishing Village by a rustic rowing boat, meat the local peopleand pass through the lagoons. 16.00 Cruise back to Cong Dam for swimming or kayaking. 19.00 Have dinner and stay overnight on board.
Day 3: Cong Dam - Ngoc Vung - Vung Ha
07:30 Have breakfast in the fresh air. 08.30 Cruise to Ngoc Vung Island. 10:00 Cycle around Ngoc Vung Island. 12:30 Have lunch and relax on board. 15:30 Cruise back to Vung Ha while enjoying the sunset. 19.00 Have dinner and stay overnight on board
Day 4 : Vung Ha - Ba Cua - Vung Vieng - Cong Do
07:30 Enjoy the morning on the bay while having breakfast. 08:30 Fish with the local people and learn about local fishing techniques. 09:30 Cruise to Ba Cua Beach for relaxation and swimming. Discover Bo Hung (Dor-beetle) Island by kayak. 11:30 Have lunch in a homestay on Vung Vieng fishing village. 14:00 Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by rowing boat 15:00 Cruise back to Cong Do for swimming and kayaking. 19:00 Enjoy a deluxe dinner in Thien Canh Son Cave, stay overnight on board.
Day 5: Cong Do - Hon Gai Harbour
07.30 Enjoy the fresh air and gentle breezes of the bay in the morning while having breakfast on board. 08.30 Free time for kayaking, swimming or relaxation. 10.00 Cruise towards the harbour while an a la carte lunch is served. 11.45 Disembark. Farewell. 15.45 Arrive in Hanoi. End of trip.
